According to the website CaughtOffside, the Manchester United management is currently working to bring views closer to Roma, while adhering to not exceeding the value it had previously set for contracting with the player, within the framework of its financial policy during the transfer market. The Red Devils' interest in including Kone comes as part of coach Michael Carrick's plan to strengthen the midfield, after the team has already strengthened this position by signing Youri Tielemans and Andre Santos, as the club seeks to add a new element that will give the team more strength and balance.
For its part, the TEAMtalk website reported that Manchester United is preparing to make an offer worth about 50 million euros, while Roma is insisting on obtaining more than 60 million euros, especially if other clubs enter the competition line.
Despite the full agreement with Koné, the completion of the deal is still linked to reaching a final understanding between the two clubs regarding the transfer value, which is the point that will determine the future of the negotiations in the coming days.
