Algerian international Hicham Boudaoui is close to ending his spell with French club Nice, with negotiations with Saudi side Al-Ittihad reportedly approaching their final stages as part of a potential transfer that could bring his seven-year journey with the club to an end.
According to French newspaper L’Équipe, talks between Nice and Al-Ittihad have reached an advanced stage, with both clubs now close to reaching a final agreement over Boudaoui’s move to the Saudi Pro League.
The 26-year-old midfielder is keen to embark on a new chapter during the current summer transfer window, a desire that has received a positive response from Nice’s management despite his contract with the club running until June 2027.
In another indication that his departure is nearing, Boudaoui trained individually at Nice’s training center on Tuesday, as the Algerian midfielder appears to be preparing to close the chapter on his long spell with the French club.
Boudaoui is now on the verge of taking on a new challenge in his career, with his move to Al-Ittihad potentially marking the beginning of a new chapter in Saudi football after seven years in Ligue 1.
