Barcelona have announced their official squad for tonight’s clash with Elche in the second round of La Liga, marking the Catalan side’s first appearance in the competition this season after their opening fixture was postponed.
Barcelona will be looking for a strong start to their title defense as they aim to win La Liga for the third consecutive season, having secured the championship in each of the previous two campaigns.
The squad is notable for the absence of left-back Alejandro Balde, with reports suggesting that the defender could leave the club during the current transfer window.
The squad also includes several of Barcelona’s biggest stars, including Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Pedri, Gavi and Fermin Lopez, as well as Egyptian striker Hamza Abdelkarim and new arrivals Karim Adeyemi and Anthony Gordon.
