Al-Ahly Club has decided on the position of Frenchman Enzo Meo, after the club’s management officially approved the transfer of the first-team football player to the ranks of Diriyah, during the current summer transfer period.
Meo is scheduled to move to Diriyah for one season on loan, to continue with the team until the end of the 2026-2027 sports season, without the agreement including a clause allowing the purchase of the player’s contract permanently.
The loan of the French player comes in light of the desire of the French player to continue with the team until the end of the 2026-2027 sports season. Al-Ahly wants to give him a greater opportunity to participate and get regular playing minutes, after his chances of competing for a starting place on the team’s roster have become limited during the next stage.
According to the agreement between the two clubs, Al-Ahly management will bear the bulk of Meo’s salary throughout the period of his loan to Diriyah, as part of the arrangements for completing the deal.
