Crazy draw… City loses the advantage and Arsenal is closest to the title

Manchester City settled for a thrilling 3-3 draw against its host Everton FC, in the confrontation that was held at Hill Dickinson Stadium in the 35th round of the English Premier League.

The match witnessed major fluctuations in the score, as Manchester City opened the scoring in the 43rd minute through Jérémy Doku after a pass from his teammate Sharqi, to end the first half with a 1-0 lead.

In the second half, Everton rose up and succeeded in conceding a goal. Beto Betuncal (Cirno Barry) equalized in the 68th minute, taking advantage of a defensive error, before Jake O'Brien added the second goal with a header in the 73rd minute following a corner kick.

The hosts continued their pressure, and Barry returned and scored the third goal in the 81st minute, giving Everton a huge advantage in the score.

Despite being late, Manchester City did not give up, as Erling Haaland reduced the gap in the 83rd minute after A pass from Mateo Kovačić, before Doku snatched the fatal equalizer in the 90+7 minute with a wonderful shot from outside the penalty area.

With this result, Manchester City raised its score to 71 points in second place with a postponed match, reducing the difference to 5 points with leaders Arsenal, while Everton’s score reached 48 points in tenth place.
