Real Madrid CF resumed training in the Valdebebas Sports City, in preparation for the upcoming confrontation against Sevilla FC on Sunday evening at Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, within the Spanish League, following the recent victory over Real Oviedo with a score of 2-0.
According to what was reported by Mundo Deportivo newspaper, the training session witnessed a positive development with the return of Federico Valverde to participate in part of the group training, after his absence during the period. The past due to the injury he suffered in the head following an argument with Aurélien Tchouaméni.
Reports also indicated that the atmosphere inside the training session was characterized by professionalism between Kylian Mbappé and Álvaro Arbeloa, despite the tensions that recently arose within the club after the exchange of statements between the two parties, and the subsequent talk of internal disputes following the Real Oviedo match.
On the other hand, a number of Real Madrid players continued to implement their programs. Qualifying away from the group, as Ferland Mendy, Éder Militão, Arda Güler and Rodrygo underwent individual training, as part of the stages of recovery from the injuries they are suffering from.
Real Madrid’s technical staff hopes to recover the largest possible number of players during the next stage, especially with the end of the season approaching and the competition in the Spanish League intensifying.
