Al Hilal Club began studying the possibility of contracting with Portuguese winger Pedro Neto, a Chelsea player, during the current summer transfer period, after the famous business agent Jorge Mendes presented the player’s name to the Saudi club’s management to discuss opportunities to complete the deal.
According to Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari, Neto’s name has already entered among the options on Al Hilal’s table, in light of Mendes’ movements to explore the possibility of reaching an agreement before the curtain comes down on the transfer market.
This move comes. Amid continued uncertainty about the future of the Portuguese international with Chelsea, at a time when talk is increasing about the possibility of his departure and a new experience during the next season.
Interest in Neto’s services is not limited to Al Hilal only, as his name has previously been linked to a move to a number of major English Premier League clubs, most notably Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
If Al Hilal succeeds in concluding the deal, Pedro Neto will join a group of Portuguese stars in the Saudi Roshen League, led by them. Cristiano Ronaldo, in addition to Ruben Neves, the Al Hilal midfielder.
Neto has a contract with Chelsea that extends until the summer of 2031, which makes any move for his departure subject to the approval of the English club and reaching a final agreement between all parties.
