Al Hilal secured a resounding 5-1 victory over Al Khaleej in the match played between the two teams this evening in the Saudi Pro League.
Al Hilal dominated the game from the start and opened the scoring in the 15th minute through Qader Mitri, giving his side an early advantage.
The pressure continued as Sergej Milinković-Savić doubled Al Hilal’s lead in the 29th minute. Al Khaleej responded in the 38th minute, with Saleh Al-Amri pulling one goal back to give his team hope of a comeback.
However, Al Hilal quickly restored its three-goal advantage when Theo Hernández scored in the 40th minute, before Cresencio added a fourth goal just three minutes later.
The Riyadh side then delivered another blow shortly before halftime, with Sultan Mandash scoring in the 45+2nd minute to put Al Hilal 5-1 ahead at the break.
Al Khaleej attempted to reduce the deficit after the restart, but Al Hilal’s defense remained organized and prevented the visitors from finding another goal.
Al Khaleej were awarded a penalty in the 67th minute, but Moussa Barrow failed to convert it, missing the chance to narrow the gap.
Al Hilal maintained its commanding lead until the final whistle, securing a convincing 5-1 victory and three points, while Al Khaleej suffered a heavy defeat.
