Al-Qadsiah FC achieved an important victory over its guest, Al-Nassr, with a score of 3-1, in the confrontation that brought them together at Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium in the 31st round of the Saudi Roshan League.
The beginning of the match was equal between the two teams, before Al-Qadisiyah gradually imposed its style, relying on a tight defensive organization and quick counterattacks that confused Al-Nasr’s defence.
And it succeeded. Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat opened the scoring for the hosts in the 24th minute, before João Félix equalized for Al-Nassr in the 39th minute, ending the first half with a balanced score.
In the second half, Al-Qadisiyah regained its lead through Musab Al-Juwair in the 55th minute, giving his team the advantage again, before Roger Martínez Quiñónes confirmed the superiority by adding the third goal in the 78th minute.
With this result, Al-Qadisiyah has 68 points in fourth place, strengthening its chances of competing for advanced positions, while Al-Nasr has stagnated at 79 points in the lead, subjecting it to increasing pressure in the remaining rounds of the season.
