17e5c6FC Barcelona has reached a final agreement with Manchester City regarding the contract with Spanish midfielder Rodri, according to what was reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, so that the deal is on the cusp of official completion in the coming hours.
The agreement came after intense negotiations between the two clubs, after Manchester City rejected two previous offers from Barcelona, the first of which amounted to 45 million euros, and the second amounted to about 65 million euros.
According to journalist David Ornstein, the agreement stipulates that Manchester City will obtain 60 million euros as a fixed fee, in addition to 11.5 million euros in easy-to-achieve bonuses, in addition to an additional 5 million euros, bringing the total potential value of the deal to 76.5 million euros.
The Barcelona and Manchester City management are expected to complete the final procedures during the coming hours, in preparation for the official announcement of Rodri’s transfer to the ranks of the Catalan team.
The contract with Rodri comes within the framework of Barcelona’s moves to strengthen its midfield with an experienced player. Great and distinguished technical potential, especially in light of the club's desire to compete strongly in various tournaments during the new season.
