Despite Manchester United’s superiority in the number of shots during the match, the team was unable to convert its offensive advantage into goals, while Hull City maintained their lead until the final whistle.
With this result, Manchester United began their journey in the English Premier League with a surprise loss at home, while Hull City made a strong start away from home, earning their first three points in the new season.
