Scholes said in statements to the "stick" podcast on the football podcasts website: “Even in the times when he was scoring, I thought Salah was 'ugly' at times, the ball bouncing off his legs, he's putting in the worst you can see from a center forward.”
He added: “Arne Slot has to leave him out of the team at times, as long as he stops scoring goals. He can be the best and worst striker in the world.”
