The goalless draw was decided by the match between Zamalek and Enppi, in the match that brought together the two teams this Monday evening in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League title.
The match witnessed a controversial moment in the 18th minute, after a goal for Enppi scored by Ahmed Kalusha was disallowed due to offside, leaving the tie standing without goals.
Zamalek also received an early blow after its star, Omar Gaber, suffered a muscle injury in the 28th minute. As a result, he left the field, and was replaced by Mohamed Ibrahim.
With this result, Zamalek raised its score to 50 points at the top of the coronation group standings, while Enppi’s score reached 36 points in sixth place.
