Press reports revealed a new move by Manchester United to sign Frenchman Aurelien Chouameny, the Real Madrid midfielder, during the current summer transfer market, as part of the English club’s efforts to strengthen its ranks before the start of the new season.
According to what was reported by Spanish journalist Jose Felix Diaz, Manchester United has made an official offer to Chouamini that includes a five-year contract, in addition to a large financial salary, in an attempt to convince the player to embark on a new experience in the English Premier League.
The report indicated that the Manchester United management will not begin direct negotiations with Real Madrid until after obtaining the player’s approval, while the value of the deal, if it goes ahead, may reach about 100 million euros.
Despite the interest of the English club, Real Madrid does not plan to abandon the French midfielder, as the management considers him one of the main pillars of the team, and is committed to his continuation during the next season, unless the negotiations witness unexpected developments.
Tchouamini had joined Real Madrid. In the summer of 2022, he came from Monaco for 80 million euros, and he has a contract extending until June 2028. Since joining the team, he has participated in 195 matches in various competitions, during which he scored 7 goals and provided 8 assists.
