The Al-Ittihad club management continues to work on implementing its plan to develop the club’s sports system, as part of a long-term project aimed at enhancing technical stability and building a team capable of continuous competition in various tournaments.
According to press reports, most notably what was published by the journalist specializing in transfer news, Sasha Tavoleri, the Al-Ittihad management continues its efforts to persuade German coach Jurgen Klopp to join the club during the next stage.
The sources indicated that the offer presented to Klopp is not limited to Taking over the technical leadership of the first team only, but also includes granting him broad powers through the position of General Technical Director, allowing him to supervise the club’s sports strategy, contract files, and future planning.
According to the same reports, contacts between the two parties have continued during the past months, despite previous statements issued by the German coach’s representatives, which denied the existence of official negotiations at that time.
Klopp currently holds a position within the Red Bull Global, but the sources confirm that he has not completely ruled out the idea of embarking on a new experience outside Europe, including working in the Saudi Roshen League.
