Al-Ittihad Stumbles Again… A Goalless Draw Against Al-Fateh in the Roshn League
A goalless draw settled the match between Al-Fateh and Al-Ittihad, which brought them together on Saturday evening as part of the fourth round of the Saudi Roshn League for the 2026-2027 sports season, in a match where goals were absent for the entire 90 minutes.
The two teams tried to reach the net throughout the match, but the attacking attempts were not translated into goals, with each side settling for one point at the end of the match.
With this result, Al-Ittihad raised its balance to 8 points, occupying the fourth position in the Roshn League standings, while maintaining its undefeated record since the beginning of the season.
The draw against Al-Fateh is Al-Ittihad's second stumble in the first four rounds, after it had previously drawn with Al-Kholood at the start of its journey in the competition, thus losing four points so far.
In contrast, Al-Fateh continued its search for its first victory in the competition, after settling for adding a point to its balance, raising it to 2 points, and occupying the sixteenth position in the standings.
Al-Ittihad is preparing to play a strong match in the fifth round, when it hosts Al-Nassr in Jeddah next Saturday evening, while Al-Fateh will meet Al-Taawoun on the same day, in search of its first victory this season.
