The Saudi club Al-Qadisiyah has entered into advanced negotiations with Manchester City, with the aim of signing Dutch midfielder Tijani Reijnders during the current summer transfer period.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between the two clubs have come a long way, with the two parties close to reaching an agreement on the value of the deal, which is expected to reach about 60 million euros.
Despite the rapprochement between Al-Qadisiyah and Manchester City, the completion of The deal is still linked to the position of Reinders, who has not yet decided on his final decision regarding moving to the Saudi League and having a new experience away from European stadiums.
This comes in light of interest from Nottingham Forest in obtaining the services of the Dutch midfielder, but Al-Qadisiyah appears to be in a stronger position now after it is close to agreeing with the English club.
Reinders had joined the ranks of Manchester City in the summer of 2025, coming from Milan, in A deal valued at approximately 55 million euros, and he then signed a contract with the club extending until 2030.
