Reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Real Madrid took an official step regarding the future of its young Argentine player Nico Paz, after notifying the Como club of activating the buyback clause in the player’s contract for 9 million euros.
According to what Romano published through his official account on the “X” platform, Real Madrid management has developed a clear plan to deal with the player’s file in the coming days, as it gave the Como club a final deadline ending next Monday in order to finalize the contract with Nico Paz in exchange for 60 million euros.
The source added that the Spanish club will not wait long, as the player will return to the ranks of Real Madrid next week if an agreement is not reached with Cuomo within the specified period.
Romano indicated that Nico Paz’s return to the “Santiago Bernabeu” does not necessarily mean that he will continue with the first team, as Real Madrid is studying the possibility of re-offering him to the transfer market with an offer exceeding 60 million euros, taking advantage of the increasing interest in his services from several clubs.
