Real Madrid came out with a positive draw, 2-2, against Italian Fiorentina, in the friendly match that brought them together on Saturday evening on Austrian soil, as part of the two teams’ preparations for the start of the new season’s competitions.
The Royal team entered the match strongly, and succeeded in opening the scoring early through Brazilian striker Endric in the 12th minute, after he took advantage of a perfect pass from Alvaro Carreras and put the ball into the net.
Real Madrid continued its advantage during the first half, with Alexis adding the score. Seria scored the second goal in the 24th minute, after an organized attack that he successfully completed by taking advantage of Eduardo Camavinga's pass, giving his team a comfortable advantage.
Before the end of the first half of the match, Fiorentina was able to reduce the difference through Roberto Piccoli in the 41st minute, after he capitalized on Alex Jiménez's pass, ending the first half with Real Madrid leading by two goals to one.
In the second half, the Italian team succeeded in returning to the atmosphere of the match, after Moyes scored. Kane scored the equalizer in the 58th minute following a pass from Nicolo Fagioli, ending the match with a score of 2-2.
The match came within the preparation program led by Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, who was keen to give a number of players the opportunity to evaluate their technical and physical readiness, before taking part in the official qualifications for the new season, as part of his quest to reach the ideal lineup before the start of the competitions.
