The Premier League has officially announced the schedule of matches for the opening round of the 2026-2027 season, which will start next August 21, amid great public anticipation for the start of a new season of one of the strongest European leagues.
Arsenal FC, the defending English Premier League champion, will begin the campaign to defend its title by facing Coventry City FC at the Emirates Stadium on Friday, August 21, in the match that will officially open the season.
